EVENT: The SGA and Greek Life organizations have teamed up to bring you this year's Halloween event: the Carnival. Along with carnival staples, like food, games, and rides, you'll find a haunted house along Greek row, as well as "unofficial" (meaning not sponsored by the school) parties hosted at the houses throughout the week. Open for new threads until the end of November. Check the pinned post inside for a detailed description.
One of the oldest and largest buildings on campus, the student center is a great place for students to meet, study or just relax in between class periods. It serves several different purposes as well, hosting a student lounge, Health and Wellness center, book store and post office inside.
Somehow, regardless of the buildings and colleges that have been built up around it, a rather large stretch of perfectly manicured grass and trees has remained intact at the very center of campus, complete with a fountain in the middle. Students often set up picnics through this area of campus, and occasionally someone might prank the school by putting a bit of bubble bath in the fountain-- that never goes over well with the administration.
The cafeteria is probably one of the nicest buildings that the school has. It's air-conditioned and it doesn't smell like dust or mold which is always a plus. Inside are tables as far as the eye can see and behind that, a variety of stations where food is served.
On the outskirts of the CSU campus lie eight old, large houses, each of which are designated as the headquarters for the four fraternities and four sororities on campus. It's quite a walk to class when living here, but it's still the best place to live in a social sense. The rooms are few, however, and lots of members of these fraternities/sororities usually live in dorms or off-campus.
A mall and another smaller, less noteworthy shopping center seemed to be conveniently located right next to each other. The mall is a huge, two story building with fancy decorations and escalators galore. The shopping center is sort of like a crummier, dirtier version. There is a Walmart, though!
This is for all off-campus locations not specified above, and it encompasses basically the rest of the world. If your character is going home for the weekend, this is where it goes; if your character chooses to go on vacation or study abroad, this is where it goes.
Archived characters and events go here. Every character profile whose account hasn't been active for a month is placed here. After two months, every event is moved here as well, though you're welcome to finish the threads past that time.
